Day 8

So last night's crate training didn't really work out BTW. Bella woke up after an hour and would not go back to sleep, so she came to bed with me. :-O Eh, whatever. It might just stay that way...

So Kevin got home early today. Usually he gets home about 9-10 pm. Today at 6 pm! He got to see how awesome Bella is, she is getting more playful every day that she is here! He already loves her.. :-)

Day 7

So last night Bella ended up sleeping in the bed with me. I didn't want her to because I am scared about what might happen to her since she's so small. But, she whined like crazy when I tried to crate her. I just cant hear her cry it out, it's too sad. The only way she wouldn't cry was with me. So tonight after getting some tips, I am trying the crate again. I put a hot water bottle in there, with the shirt I wore all day yesterday over it, and a couple small stuffed animals. I am hoping it ends up working. She whined at first, but actually fell asleep. We had to put a blanket over part of the crate so she couldn't see us though. We'll see if she wakes up.

Day 6

I got a puppy today!!! I have been wanting a brown/black Chihuahua for so long. Bella is a 6 week 5 day old puppy. She'll be 7 weeks on Saturday. It's pretty early to be letting her leave her mom and siblings, but I guess since she was weaned, and for other personal reasons, the owner needed to let them go sooner. Here is me and my new baby!

Day 5

So I did a bunch of cloth diaper trades on diaperswappers.com, and in return I received 12 unbleached GMD Red edge prefolds, 3 Softbums shells, and 7 Organic pod inserts. Love them all! And I loooove fluffy mail!

Day 4

For most of the day today I watched my neighbor's 2 cuties who are 4.5 and 11 months. The baby still breastfeeds, so mom gave me a pumped bottle. The 4 year old wanted to feed her, I had to get a pic... :-)

Day 3

Today I spent a lot of time with my neighbor/friend. She has 2 little girls, 4.5 and 11 months old. I have known the 11 month old since she was born. I hang out a lot with them so both girls know me pretty well. Today we ran some errands, shipped some "fluffy" mail off for our cloth diaper trades, and then just hung out at her place for awhile. When we were getting out at the post office, I went to get her 11 month old out of her car seat, and I had to take a picture. Her lil hat was over her eyes and she was out. They are so sweet when they are sleeping!

Day 2

So today I let my neighbor/friend's sister have our desk because we weren't using it anymore. She's a single mom of 3 kids, and I wanted to do what I could. So she came to get our old loveseat and desk, then go pick up a recliner from my mom's house for me. When she came to pick it up, I had to watch all 3 of her kids, 2, 4, and 6. So I had my neighbor come over and help me. We played Chutes and Ladders and it wasn't too bad.

365 Days Project/Day 1

So I tried to do this last year, the 365 Days Project, (take a picture every day of the year) yeah... that didn't end up happening. It lasted about a month. I am going to do it this year, I am going to stick with it! I am hoping to look back at this blog at the end of the year, and be able to see what all we've gone through and be able to really remember everything we've done.

Today we spent the day at Kevin's parent's house playing Wii and XBOX all day. It was a lot of fun, we love his family. Today's picture is of Kevin and his twin brother playing basketball on XBOX 360. I love the looks on their faces. Oh... boys and their toys!
